FAQs - Temperature Humidity Data Logger
What are the applications of the USB temperature humidity data logger?
The USB temperature humidity data logger is primarily used for monitoring temperature and humidity levels during the storage and transportation of food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and other sensitive goods. It is widely applied across various sectors of cold chain logistics, including refrigerated containers, refrigerated trucks, cooler bags, cold storage rooms, laboratories, and more.
What is the default cable length of the external probe?
The default cable length of the external probe is 0.6 meters. Other lengths can be customized as needed, with a maximum length of up to 30 meters.
Will exporting stored data affect the recording process?
No, it will not affect the device’s operation. You can export historical data at any time without erasing the records stored in the USB temperature and humidity logger. If the logger is actively recording, data extraction will not interrupt its functionality.
How do I export stored data?
1. Open the USB Temperature and Humidity Logger Data Management Software.
2. Connect the logger to your computer via the USB cable. The software will automatically detect and read all stored data from the device.
3. Select the “Report” tab, define the start and end time, then click “Refresh” to retrieve the logged data. Click “Export” to choose the desired file format (TXT, XLS, or PDF), select the save path, and confirm to export the data.
4. You can also store the data in the computer’s database by clicking “Save to Database.”
What are the dimensions of this data logger?
The dimensions of our COS04 temperature humidity data logger are: 53 mm (L) × 26.7 mm (W) × 73 mm (H).
How does a USB data logger work?
It continuously measures temperature and humidity using internal sensors and stores the readings in internal memory. Data can be accessed by plugging it into a USB port and using dedicated software.
Is the Renke USB data logger accurate?
Yes, it is. While most USB data loggers on the market offer a typical temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C and humidity accuracy of ±3% RH, Renke’s standard model delivers superior performance with a temperature accuracy of ±0.3°C and humidity accuracy of ±2% RH.
For applications with more demanding requirements, we also offer high-precision models specially developed by our R&D team. These advanced versions achieve up to ±0.1°C temperature accuracy and ±1.5% RH humidity accuracy, outperforming the majority of competitors in the market.
What is the difference between a USB and wireless data logger?
USB temperature humidity data loggers require manual data retrieval via USB. Wireless loggers transmit data remotely via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or LoRa, offering real-time monitoring.
How often does a USB data logger record data (interval)?
Logging intervals are user-configurable, usually ranging from 1 second to several hours, depending on application needs.
Where can I buy a reliable USB temperature and humidity data logger?
You can purchase directly from Renke, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with a complete in-house production line and a professional R&D and testing team.
Renke offers not only high-quality USB data loggers but also customized temperature and humidity monitoring solutions tailored to your specific application scenarios. Our technical experts are available to provide professional guidance and support based on your measurement environment.
