Our Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor
Description
RS-WS-*-SMG-*-EX is a wired temperature humidity sensor, it has a variety of different output methods, such as temperature and humidity sensor modbus, temperature and humidity sensor analog. The default measurement range of this temp humidity sensor is -40°C~80°C temperature and 0~100%RH humidity. Users can replace the temperature and humidity sensor probe at the bottom to meet different measurement needs. Such as: replacing the high-temperature probe to measure the environment of -40℃~120℃, replacing the waterproof probe to measure the temperature in the liquid, etc.
Features
1. This digital temperature and humidity sensor features a high-brightness LCD screen, ensuring clear data readability even in dark environments or under strong light.
2. The entire housing is made of high-protection materials, with multiple waterproofing layers using waterproof gaskets inside, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
3. The digital temperature and humidity sensor is built with imported components. Its circuit board is treated with a conformal coating, providing protection against moisture, salt spray, and mold—greatly enhancing product longevity.
4. An anti-interference module is integrated within the digital temperature and humidity sensor, and the circuit is meticulously designed to effectively resist electromagnetic interference, enabling stable operation in harsh electromagnetic environments.
5. The cable outlet at the bottom uses an IP68-rated PG7 waterproof gland, further ensuring excellent resistance to moisture and water ingress.
6. The sensor supports a wide voltage power supply range of 10–30VDC.

What are the applications of digital temperature and humidity sensors?
This device has a wide range of applications. Because it has its display and is moisture-proof, it is often used as a greenhouse indoor digital temperature and humidity sensor. Besides, it can also be used in communication rooms, warehouse buildings, and automatic control, and other places that require temperature monitoring.
How to calculate analog output?
1. Current output signal conversion calculation
For example, the range is -40~+80℃, 4~20mA output, when the output signal is 12mA, calculate the current temperature value. The span of this temperature range is 120℃, expressed by 16mA current signal, 120℃/16mA=7.5℃/mA, that is, 1mA current represents a temperature change of 7.5℃. The measured value is 12mA-4mA=8mA, 8mA*7.5℃/mA=60℃. 60+(-40)=20℃, the current temperature is 20℃.
2. Voltage output signal conversion calculation
For example, the range is -40~+80℃, 0-10V output, when the output signal is 5V, calculate the current temperature value. The span of this temperature range is 120℃, expressed by a 10V voltage signal, 120℃/10V=12℃/V, that is, a voltage of 1V represents a temperature change of 12℃. The measured value is 5V-0V=5V, 5V*12℃/V=60℃. 60+(-40)=20℃, the current temperature is 20℃.
