About - LoRa Temperature Humidity Data Logger
RS-WS-LORAH-*-6C-*-EX is a LoRa wireless temperature humidity data logger. It adopts the company’s proprietary wireless spread spectrum technology, enabling long communication distance with a line-of-sight range of up to 3000 m and strong penetration capability, allowing transmission through 3-4 reinforced concrete walls. The system also features an exclusive frequency hopping technology, providing enhanced resistance to electromagnetic interference and improving communication stability in complex environments. Equipped with an LCD display, the device allows real-time viewing of temperature and humidity data, ensuring convenient on-site monitoring.
Features
This LoRa temperature humidity data logger offers high-accuracy measurement and supports customizable upper and lower alarm thresholds for both temperature and humidity. It is equipped with a large LCD display for clear real-time data visualization. A built-in high-decibel buzzer enables audible and visual alarm functions when threshold limits are exceeded.
The device allows users to freely configure alarm limits and supports password-protected calibration for temperature and humidity, ensuring secure and reliable operation.
Power is supplied either by an internal rechargeable lithium battery or an external power adapter, which can be charged via 220V AC power. With no requirement for on-site communication wiring, it effectively eliminates the installation complexity and strict cabling requirements associated with traditional wired systems. In conventional wired networks, a failure of a single device may lead to communication disruption across the entire system, and troubleshooting can be time-consuming and inefficient.

FAQs - LoRa Temperature Humidity Data Logger
Do I need a gateway? Can it work without one?
Yes, our LoRa temperature humidity data logger must be used together with our LoRa host or LoRa gateway. Without a host or gateway, the device cannot upload monitoring data, and users can only read real-time values from the screen.
In that case, using the LoRa version would not provide much practical value, because other types of data loggers, such as WiFi or USB models, can also display real-time data on the screen while offering a lower overall cost.
How far can a LoRa temperature humidity data logger transmit?
Our LoRa data logger can achieve a maximum communication distance of up to 3,000 meters in open and unobstructed areas. If walls are present, it can typically penetrate up to 3 to 4 concrete walls, depending on the installation environment.
How many sensors can one gateway support?
We offer four LoRa gateway models for you to choose from. The RS-LGH-100-*-EX supports up to 32 sensors, the RS-LGH-200-*-EX supports 32 sensors and 32 LoRa controllers, the RS-LGH-300-*-EX supports up to 128 sensors, and the RS-LGH-400-*-EX supports 64 sensors and 64 LoRa controllers.
How long does the battery last?
Our LoRa temperature humidity data logger is equipped with two built-in rechargeable 18650 batteries. When fully charged and configured to upload data once every 3 minutes, it can operate continuously for approximately 4 to 6 months.
Can it be used in freezers or extreme temperatures?
Yes. If you plan to use it in a freezer or cold storage environment, you can choose an external probe. The recommended setup is to place the probe inside the cold environment while keeping the main body of the LoRa temperature and humidity data logger in a normal-temperature area, since low temperatures can affect battery performance and service life.
Does it need calibration? How often?
Our LoRa data logger is factory-calibrated before shipment and can be deployed directly without routine on-site calibration. If recalibration is required, please contact our technical support team for assistance.
What is the accuracy and resolution of the temperature/humidity measurement?
Our data logger provides a temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C and a humidity accuracy of ±3%RH, with resolutions of 0.1°C and 0.1%RH respectively, meeting the requirements of most application scenarios.
What happens if the connection is lost? Is data stored locally?
If communication is interrupted, our LoRa temperature humidity data logger will automatically store the monitoring data locally and upload the stored records once communication is restored. It can store up to 65,535 data records at one time.
Where should a LoRa temperature and humidity data logger be installed?
For optimal performance, the LoRa temperature humidity data logger should be installed at a relatively elevated and open location, preferably at least 1 meter above the ground. It is recommended to avoid placing metal objects around the device, as they may attenuate or shield the wireless signal.
The installation environment should be kept away from sources of electromagnetic interference, such as generators, high-current equipment, high-voltage relays, and transformers, as these may affect communication stability. In addition, mechanical vibration or physical impact may also introduce interference; therefore, the device should be installed in a stable and low-disturbance environment.
The sensor must not be installed in conditions that exceed its specified measurement range, as this may lead to abnormal operation or cause permanent damage to the sensing element.
What are the applications of LoRa temperature and humidity data loggers?
The LoRa temperature humidity data logger is widely used in cold chain logistics, food and pharmaceutical storage, biological products, specialized warehousing, electronics and chemical industries, healthcare systems, server rooms, and research laboratories, enabling continuous 24-hour environmental monitoring of temperature and humidity.
Is it FDA / CE / FCC certified?
Our temperature and humidity data logger is certified to CE, FCC, and RoHS standards.
