The interior adopts a high-precision three-axis compass, and the accuracy can be about ±3°.

The ultrasonic pen weather station itself has no storage function. If you want to store data, you can use our data collector to upload the measured data to our free cloud platform for data storage and export.

Possibly, the water spray has little effect but there will be a brief data jump. The influence of water mist on the wind reading is relatively large, especially the mist that is about to condense, and the measurement data will be biased.

If you choose an ultrasonic weather station with a built-in electronic compass, there is no orientation requirement for installation. If you choose a device without a built-in electronic compass, you need to align the “N” mark on the device with due north when installing it.

Our ultrasonic weather station can measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, light, noise, wind speed, wind direction, PM2.5/PM10, and CO2. Note: If you choose PM, you cannot choose CO2, and if you choose CO2, you cannot choose PM, because the two cannot be selected at the same time.

Ultrasonic anemometers work on the principle that the travel time of sound waves through the air is affected by the wind speed component parallel with the direction of travel. The basic element of an ultrasonic anemometer consists of an ultrasonic sound emitter and receiver at opposite ends of a sampling volume.

This ultrasonic weather station uses RS485 signal output, and the maximum power consumption is 1.2W.

When the weather station works in an environment below minus 20 degrees Celsius, the wind speed and direction begin to have measurement errors.

  • The computer has multiple COM ports, and the selected port is incorrect.
  • The device address is wrong, or there are devices with duplicate addresses (the factory default is all 1).
  • Baud rate, check mode, data bit, stop bit error.
  • The host polling interval and waiting time for response are too short, and both need to be set above 200ms.
  • The 485 bus is disconnected, or the A and B lines are reversed.
  • If the number of devices is too large or the wiring is too long, the power supply should be provided nearby, add a 485 booster, and at the same time increase a 120Ω terminal resistance.
  • The USB to 485 drivers is not installed or damaged.
