About - Handheld CO2 Meter

Portable CO2 meters are widely used in various industrial and commercial settings. While their monitoring purposes vary significantly depending on the nature of the industry, the core objective remains the same: to quantify CO2 concentrations in order to verify process conditions, assess ventilation efficiency, or meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Features

This handheld carbon dioxide gas detector uses a non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor, offering excellent sensitivity and outstanding repeatability. It features an over-limit alarm function: when CO2 concentration exceeds the set threshold, a three-level alarm is triggered with sound, light, and vibration. Equipped with a high-definition color display, it allows clear readings even in dark environments. The housing is made of high-strength engineering plastic combined with anti-slip composite rubber, providing dust and water resistance. This portable CO2 meter is easy to operate and maintain, meeting the high reliability requirements of industrial safety monitoring. Additionally, it offers powerful data storage, capable of storing up to 100,000 test records, and supports exporting historical data.

Applications

Our handheld CO2 meter has a wide range of applications. Such as: verifying tank-in operations during brewing and fermentation processes; verification of tank clearance following the discharge of CO2 total flooding fire suppression systems; atmospheric testing prior to entering manholes at wastewater treatment facilities; and pre-entry testing for dry ice storage and transportation, as well as enclosed ship compartments. Each of these scenarios corresponds to specific industry standards or regulatory requirements. Thanks to their portability and rapid response capabilities, handheld instruments serve as a critical supplementary tool in areas where fixed online monitoring systems cannot provide coverage.
